Near East University Boosts Emergency Services As Number Of Ambulance Increases





According to the press info release from the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, the number of ambulances to provide service to '153 emergency service' has more than doubled doubled from 4 to nine.

As well as Near East University Hospital, it was announced that these ambulances would be at the service of NEU Kyrenia Hospital, alongside Famagusta and Guzelyurt dispensaries. Furthermore, it was declared that the ambulances were fully equipped and were ready to provide services, 24/7, at the above mentioned locations.
The Operating Director of the Near East University Hospital, Özgü Bayraktar, emphasised that they aimed to provide the best health services long-sought  by the public.
Also making a statement, Chief Physician Dr. Sevim Erkmen stated that Near East University had, once again, shown the required attention to human health by facilitating best of services. She further added that once an emergency call was received at the 153 call centre, they now had the number of ambulances to provide services by getting to the emergency point much quicker. She assured that the ambulances were fully equipped and they were operated by health staff that was highly competent in their specialisation fields.
