An earthquake in Turkey was felt across Cyprus early this morning.
The tremor, measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale, occurred at about 0100am and was measured 140km away at the Yeni Erenkoy Earthquake Centre in Turkey.
Earlier this month, a small earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richer Scale shook parts of western Cyprus.
The quake was felt mainly in the Limassol district
